Body Procedures - Thigh Lift
An advanced form of Liposuction, Liposculpture can reshape and improve specific areas of the body by removing deep compartment fat deposits in areas such as the upper arms, chest, abdomen, flanks, buttocks, hips and thighs. By utilizing smaller instruments and specially designed techniques, including Microfat Grafting, Liposculpture can remove the fat deposits with less visible scars, quicker healing and enhanced patient comfort. When necessary, Liposculpture utilizes the harvested fat cells as a natural and permanent means of augmentation to achieve fuller cheeks, facial contours, liposuction as well as curvatures in the waist and buttocks. Thus, Liposculpture becomes an aesthetic way of utilizing liposuction and microfat grafting to achieve bodily youth.
Liposculpture involves numbing the localized fat with a saline based lidocaine to establish tumescence, or fullness. After the tissue is numbed, the solution and the unwanted fat are safely removed through a very small skin opening of less than a quarter-inch in size with a straw-like tool called a canula. The procedure is quiet and the movements are gentle and slow.
As one of the first plastic surgeons to perform Liposculpture in Southern California, Dr. Daniel Golshani has developed a unique minimally-invasive technique that can remove considerable amounts of excess fat and promote skin tightening with precise results. There is reduced discomfort and less trauma including bruising and scarring while using the harvested fat cells to achieve improved symmetry or fullness when necessary. Furthermore, the recovery after the procedure is quicker and most patients are able to return to work and other normal activities a week.
